How can I get involved in the fight to end abortion?
Pray:
· Pray and fast often – asking God to forgive our nation, raise up deliverers, and end abortion in our land.
· Pray individually and corporately as often as possible.
· Go to your local abortion provider ( Planned Parenthood) and pray asking God to:
- Save His preborn children and their parents.
- Rescue men and women from the sin of abortion.
- Heal and restore those who have had an abortion.
- Transform the lives of the abortionist and their staff through salvation faith in Christ.
Educate yourself about abortion and the pro-life position:
· Start with the books and web sites listed on the RESOURCE page.
Vote for pro-life politicians, judges, congressmen, and senators:
· Never vote for a presidential candidate, politician, or public official that is pro-choice, pro-abortion, or pro-life in rhetoric only.
· Take the time to investigate the candidates voting records to find out what is really important to them before you cast your vote.
· Support pro-life legislation and amendments.
Lead the Who Am I? Bible study in your church or small group.
Help hurting people struggling with the abortion decision:
· Offer to adopt their baby
· Financially support women and men dealing with an unexpected pregnancy.
· Provide pregnant women in need with a place to stay during their pregnancy.
Support pro-life organizations and pregnancy resource centers:
· Financially support these groups annually, monthly, or weekly.
· Volunteer your time and services to these groups.
· Pray for their provision, protection, and perseverance.
· Start a group in your area if there isn’t one.
Ask your pastor and your church to take a more active role in the fight to end abortion.
Pass out pro-life books or literature in your community, church, and neighborhood to educate others about the sanctity of human life.
Create literature, dramas, movies, songs, paintings, or other forms of art that promote a culture of life.
· Use your own unique talents and abilities to fight abortion. You just might have the missing piece of the puzzle.
Peacefully pray and protest in front of abortion facilities to raise public awareness and rescue men and women from committing abortions.
Write letters to the editor and your political representatives about your concerns and abortion views.
Lead a life of sexual purity, encourage abstinence before marriage, and teach your children about the sanctity of human life.
Always be ready and able to assist a relative, neighbor, or friend in making the right choice about abortion.
